For instance, if a liquid is thick and gloopy, a wide necked bottle or jar might be required while a pouch with a window might be useful for some products where the contents need to be seen.
When it comes to bottles, the nature of your product will often determine whether it would be best suited to a glass, polythene, PET, PVC or co-extruded polymer bottle and, if it’s a plastic bottle, whether it needs to be pigmented, natural or fluorine coated to prevent its contents from permeating through.

Putting your product in a box not only makes it more stackable and gives added protection during transit but it makes it easier to account for and provides an extra marketing opportunity in terms of building your brand.
A ‘bag’ can be a very loose term in describing the type of packaging needed and when we get to the heart of the matter we’re actually talking about a sack, pouch or even a really big Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) which resemble a small tent with a spout at its top and bottom.
