Do I need a finished formulation before contacting Grotech? No. Some customers come to us with a formulation ready to manufacture, others need support refining or developing a product before it reaches production. We can work with you at whatever stage you’re at.
Will Grotech compete with me or sell to my customers? No. Grotech is a toll manufacturer — we don’t develop, sell or market any products of our own. We manufacture on behalf of our customers, which means there’s no conflict with your brand, your customers or your routes to market. We sign NDAs as standard.
What quality standards does Grotech operate to? Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, and we hold BASIS registration, which confirms that our facilities meet the required standards for the storage and handling of crop protection products. Both are independently audited.
What batch sizes can Grotech handle? We work across a range of batch sizes — from smaller runs for niche or seasonal products through to larger production volumes. If you let us know your approximate requirements, we can confirm whether it’s a fit.
Does Grotech handle product registration or regulatory approval? Product registration remains the responsibility of the customer. Our role is to manufacture to your specification within a compliant, audited facility. That said, we understand the regulatory landscape around agrochemical products and can flag practical manufacturing considerations that may be relevant to your registration process.
Can I visit the Grotech facility before committing? Yes. We’re happy to arrange a site visit so you can see our blending, packing and storage capabilities for yourself. It’s often the quickest way to work out whether there’s a fit.
