Quality is key to how we operate here at Grotech Production Ltd and so we are delighted to achieve an exciting new milestone – certification to the newest standard ISO 9001:2015!
We are longstanding holders of the ISO quality standard certificate having retained the ISOQAR certification for ISO 9001 since 1999 for blending and packing to our customers’ requirements for the agricultural, horticultural and industrial chemical industries.
Each year we conform to the current standards and requirements, maintaining traceability throughout each production stage from administration to warehouse, processing to packing ensuring that batch traceability is visible throughout the whole process.
Our previous certification was to ISO 9001:2008 and transitioning to the new standard was a first for our Quality Assurance Manager Tracey Farrow. Although challenging in places, the transition process was a relatively straight forward one and after undergoing a thorough but successful audit by ISO auditors in March, we have recently received our updated certification.
To boost our levels of quality assurance further, ensuring standards are always maintained, services are improved and customer satisfaction is raised even higher, we have recently trained up another three of our staff as Internal Auditors. Theresa, Dave and Simon are working with Tracey, carrying out the regular quality checks that are so important to delivering the highest degree of service plus peace of mind to our customers.
Maintaining ISO certification is of paramount importance. The standards provide a clear structure to enable Grotech to meet its objectives and maintain strategic direction and with Tracey at the compliance helm, you can be sure all quality requirements are being met and maintained at all times!
